My body had apparently decided to have low blood pressure this month. I have yet to start blacking out, but it does take me about two hours after waking up before I start feeling semi-human. Thanks, self! As always, you are a peach.

I went to a family reunion this weekend.

BROTHER: "So, I'm torn between my desire to look respectable and my desire to self-medicate."
ME: "But everyone here has been self-medicating since this morning. They won't notice your respectability."
BROTHER: "True! Time for another Shiner Bock!"

And now for stuff that's been sitting on my computer. (I prefer to think of it as lolling in beach chairs, sipping digital daiquiris and squinting at me in drunken amusement.)

More Pictures of Berlin! )

More Books I Have Read! )

And my little sister has discovered that you can buy Final Fantasy music on iTunes. Here's the fruits of her labor:

Howl's Moving Castle, Magic's Price, War for the Oaks, Tam Lin, Crown Duel, Court Duel, Firebirds, Mean Season )

And I'm on page 604 of Theodore Dreiser's An American Tragedy. It's a laugh riot so far.
